Gotta say, I like that our new ownership came in, and the first order of business is to sign a whole bunch of U18/U23 age players. We should be spending more on players who are PL-ready, and I expect that we will, but our ticket to competitiveness overall is to hoover up younger talent.
We have two Cheltenham players on trial who presumably will be signing, and have been linked to a number of other young players.

Ralph wouldn’t have him if he wasn’t sure he was willing to work hard. So if he joins I will trust that he’ll do that; if he doesn’t I’ll tell myself it was Ralph’s choice to say no
I mentioned him on the first page of this thread as I’m #ITK #scoutmagic #nevawrong seems pretty risk free to me, he’s obviously a lot better than our other options talent wise, if he doesnt show it and continues his recent form then he just plays for the (mostly irrelevant) rest of this season and we send him back. If he plays well then maybe we potentially could sign him in the summer (though probably not as if he gets back to anything like his best he will have better suitors). But it seems pretty risk free to me so would be up for it
Well once Everton confirm VDB's loan, that will be their two PL loan slots taken. But I think pretty much everyone else still has at least one slot available, so if Alli was to go somewhere tomorrow, I doubt he'll be short of offers. My view is the same as I expressed last week. Playing at his best, Alli would represent a great addition to our squad - but given it would only be for four months, I struggle to see what exactly we would gain in exchange for the cost of the loan.
The gain would be the exceptionally slim chance that the move becomes permanent if he does get back to his best
