Interesting left field one.... Would appear to be another promising player rather than the experienced type we may need for the reminder of the season though.
Where do they get these "scoops" from?.......... https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/c...er-who-recently-missed-out-on-tottenham-move/
Could have been better, but could have been a lot worse. Lost a loanee, 4 in and 2 returning players. Replaced the L(W)B, a CB, CM and a striker. A striker and a CM returning. Still feel we'll lose Moore tomorrow, but if we get good money for him I'll live with that. Hughill wont play today, but him up front, between the width of the 6 yd box, with Watters or Harris running off him will give the CMs something to play to.
I think Moore will go as well. Spot on with the remark that Hugill will be a far better hold up player in the box for our midfield men to find than anyone we've got at the club.
Great start for Hugill. Looks a similar type to Collins but has a brain. I think Moore will go go. Hope for £5m but expect £3m. If he stays then Harris to go out on loan. I can see Colwill getting a loan as well to give him the needed game time.
Going to be an interesting day today. Will we keep hold of Moore (gut feeling says we will) Will many/any of the youngsters go out on loan Will we see any senior players that have now dropped down the pecking order leave/go on loan for the rest of the season, especially those who's deals are up at the end of year... The win yesterday has given us a little bit of breathing space but we still have a couple of huge six pointers (that are only worth three points) coming up. Win those and we can probably breath easier again.. Don't want to think about losing them though
Looks as if Moore is going to have a medical at the cherries this morning a fee of 3.5 million has been agreed, cant believe he is going for that low a price ,hope there are add ons.And hope the rumours are false.
Just saw that too Will. So much for my gut feeling eh That does seem like an incredibly low amount all things considered. We still make a profit on him but it feels like we're being robbed regardless. I also think it's a poor move for him as I can't see him fitting in particularly well or getting much game time Strange choice by him in lots of ways apart from he may well be in the Prem next season... That's the only real plus point.
There was no real doubt he was going when Hughill was signed. Best of luck to him. More’s the pity we didn’t see anything of him during lockdown but his brace v Huddersfield is a good memory.
Despite injuries and covid - 2 or 3 times? - he hasn't been up to his standard of last season. Perhaps his head was turned by apparent interest in the summer? I thought £5m was about right and perhaps there will be top ups for promotion to the Prem for example. However it is what it is. Get the cash in and hold for reinvestment in the summer. Maybe?
Wol have got it now - they reckon £5M............. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...er-moore-undergo-bournemouth-medical-22927304
To be honest Moore is not the player he was last season, £5M not a bad amount hope there is a few more £ add ons.
Think Will is probably right. It's most likely £3.5 up front, rising to £5 mill with promotion and appearances etc (though I hope it's NOT appearance based as I can see him doing a lot of bench warming down there). Let's just hope Hugill can stay fit and continues to put the same levels of effort in as he did yesterday. He showed more fight and determination yesterday than Moore has over his last few games combined.
