That would have been impressive, particularly as there only about 16,000 available to buy. The atmosphere was brilliant yesterday, I can’t understand anyone being disappointed, repairing seven years of damage isn’t going to happen overnight.
Just noticed someone on Twitter saying Nigel Pearson, Marco Silva, Grant McCann and Shota Arveladze all managed their first City game against Swansea City.
I do wonder if there is a consideration for pay on the gate on the day, I'm sure many work a Saturday and in some instances like me get flyers so could.possibly attend at short notice. Similarly some.may make a snap decision to attend on the day. While it felt as if there was more, it is slightly disappointing at 13k, but as has been said a lot of bridges need to be repaired because of the damage the Allams have done, I'm sure listening to our new owner speak he will put plans in place to do just that, sadly I do think it may take a bit of time.
You can buy a ticket all the way up to kick-off, for every game, either from the ticket office or the club shop.
Did anyone visit the club shop before the game? Was mental in there, even had to queue to get in, the lad on the door said he hasn't seen it like that for a long time.
I bought my 'pass' for W11 this season. There are usually rows of empty seats but not as many empty yesterday. Though I'm sure you had a better view of what seats were taken.
That’s the corporate seats, they were sold out for the first 15 years, but have been completely decimated by the Allams. Probably the hardest to get back as well.
And not being in the Prem. The dip in leagues is quite liable to have as significant an impact, although some don't find that quite as comfortable to face.
