storm malik, eh? it's a bit much when international weather organisations start taking the mick out of one of our misfiring strikers. perhaps the winds will drop something off for him as it blows by.
Glad you had a great time. I hope your Sister gets well soon and the operation is a resounding success.
I know we kind of get used to it, but watching it again, Honeyman's play for the KLP goal is incredible. Swansea had clearly done their homework on him / us and were trying at that point to mark him out of the game, rather than the more physical approach they adopted thereafter, so getting a cross of that quality in when he was mobbed by white shirts is just amazing.
Rarely drink pal. Never known anyone put the team down like you when we lose. Turrets or not stay at home. Allam’s GONE.
Acun and everyone who came with him from Turkey today didn’t get there until the 70th minute, they ended up walking across the Humber Bridge and then getting picked up from the Hessle side because of the bridge closure. I’d be gutted flying 4 hours each way to watch 20 mins of a match!
“The excitement is throughout the club at the minute, it’s great for fans and great for everyone,” Eaves said. “I think everyone is really, really hopeful of a bright future for Hull City. The fans being there, lifting the place, the noise, everything about it. "If felt different, I can’t lie, and it would be great for it be like that every week.”
Just where did I put the team down ya muppet, I mentioned about Bernard's positioning .. you need fkn therapy dude, or a visit to AA
Got to say it appeared more, but as explained upper west stand closed, gaps in the centre of west lower and north stand just small numbers I guess that's probably right
It only seems low as there were barely any Swansea there, if we'd played Sheff United yesterday, the attendance would have been 16,800, which everyone would have thought was great. Early days.
Tbh I dare say it was the first game back for a while for a lot of us, and made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience, so it can only have positive vibes on the players
Why? When I said Derby's attendance was impressive the other week given all their problems it was immediately stated there were 3,500?away fans. Which still left over 21,000nDerby fans there. They are expecting 30,000 today for a televised game which is an early kick off. That is great. Interest is measured by the number of home fans. There was an increase but there is a long way to go. Judging by Acun so far it looks promising. We don't have a massive fan base who stick with the club through thick and thin like some clubs so it will be a gradual process. The atmosphere yesterday being repeated every game will certainly encourage any newcomers to return, unlike the previous morgue like atmosphere amongst home fans.
