Please no. I wont moan if they sack Johnson after a 6-0. But I will moan if they appoint him. I would be amazed if this squad of players and he were any kind of match. Somebody like daniel stendel, to pluck a name out of thin air, might be the way to go if we change now.
Absolutely agree with this, the players deserve their fair share of the shame. That being said, if you played every player out of position you'd expect them to get battered (I know he didn't do that, just making a point that the manager can have that much of an impact), so, after we were so good 2nd half last week and the manager then changes the system and we cop for a 6 nowt defeat, he's got to accept the majority of the flack!

Ive just consigned myself to watching another season in League 1. Even if we scrape up via the play offs I can't see him getting us up to the PL or even surviving in the Championship. Probs time to go IMHO

I am with him, but wont winge if they pull the trigger. 6-0 takes some surviving, but Hassenhutl has done it a couple of times. We constantly ditch managers and replace with no better. If they do pull the trigger I want Speakman on record about why his decision making was poor and what he has learned for the next appointment. Wont happen of course because his job attracts no scrutiny, but lets not pretend giving us a better chance of promotion is as easy as ditching Johnson.
Just back in the house and I still can't believe how bad we were. The CBs were a joke, Gooch and Winnie were awful, the keepers distribution was awful. Wycombe and Wigan fail to win and we fluff our lines again. Bolton were obviously better than us but still not a good side by any stretch. I've backed the manager during his previous sticky spell but I'm on the fence now. Big few weeks coming up for him. I did think Roberts and Clark looked ok when they came on.

I think everyone is in this together from Speakman , to Johnson , to the players , the ones I feel sorry for are the 5000 and odd fans who have suffered one of the worst humiliations in the club’s history-they will be the butt of so many jokes and mickey taking , and lastly us silly buggers who forked out for the live stream . Move on to Doncaster next week at the last drink saloon for all and sundry .
