I watched the Ross County v Rangers game (3-3). Really entertaining and even more delightful Regan Charles-Cook scored for Ross, one of Stan's old players at Woking, that went to my lot, before going to Ross.
Thought you'd be more bothered with how Sunderland are getting on than Gills, strange times for sure.
I'm trying to ignore the Sunderland game now tbh. Not a good day. Gillingham have looked shot in the league for a while now sadly and Oxford are a good side so it isn't a surprise result just the scoreline really. Reckon you'll be able to enjoy next season more if you go down but that's scant consolation - as a fan whose team are also in the relegation zone it isn't what you want to hear!
Not sure what you mean tbh, I've been saying for the last few months we are going down. I have no expectation that we are staying up, I wouldn't be surprised if next season we end up in the National League, but I'll enjoy that more than L2 to be sure. I just find it strange as a Newcastle supporter you are ignoring Sunderland getting absolutely spanked on the same day.
I like Sunderland, regularly used to post on their forum tbh and get on well with them on there. I hope they go up, looking rocky after today though. I was just agreeing about Gillingham this season really, I've not seen any matches (other than the Sunderland ones) but the gap has been widening. You think they'll struggle if they go down? They seem to have been steady in League 1 for a while, I assumed they would have a decent base to build a promotion push from next year.
Bolton 6-0 Sunderland in League One⦠mad. Crazy to think that was a Prem fixture around a decade or so ago too.
