It's a bit presumptuous to assume that I have any issues with the Pope of Rome..Are you fishing for likes or trying to provoke a furious backlash from my detractors?
Oooh, ooh, an excuse for an old joke. I was telling my mate that my girlfriend has left me because I insulted the Pope. He said "ya daft sod, didn't you know she was Catholic?" I said Aye, but I didn't know the Pope was". Factoid, the guy with the actual title of "Pope" isn't the bloke from Vatican City. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_of_the_Coptic_Orthodox_Church https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/national-international/pope-titles/1937813/
Bridlington is a seaside resort 26 miles north of Hull. Some of the posters live there (including me)
I search there from google maps and google street, it seems great place to live there yes it is like Marmaris as far as i can see from the google maps photos
OK everyone, what are the social rules or mores that determine whether we call people by their first, last or both names? It's noticeable that everyone seems to be referring to the new owner as Acun, not Ilicali or Acun Ilicali. Wasn't Grant McCann usually referred to as McCann? Rarely Grant, sometimes Grant McCann or Terry. I don't remember Phil Brown being called Phil too much or Steve Bruce being called just Steve. Slutsky was just Slutsky I think. How does all this work? Personally I'll be referring to owner and manager by their surnames simply because I've never met them and it feels right to me.
Ah not sure been the same all the time with anyone's name on forums, i just have mine shortened by some to ****, ****er slimey smary, dickhead, bastard am sure there are a few others i have, not sure which i prefer though as i don't mind them all really.
