Looks like a straight midfielder not what Giles has provided. Was Charlton's Young Player of the year 3 years ago but not sure that is a great accolade. Only 11 games for Stoke. Nothing against the lad but doesn't look like what we need. Wolves will probably loan Giles to a club who can pay a bigger fee. A great pity if so.
The whole transfer situation is depressing and to make it worse there’s this ridiculous scenario of Warnock returning. The club is going from bad to worse and so I’m not even glass half empty, I’m glass totally empty. I’m off to get a large drink
I'll drink from font of an improving football style, a vision for the future and not bankrupting the club. Morison is a man getting stuck into a difficult job with very few financial resources. Let's get behind him and the new ethos he's trying to establish. Ignore the local media. For every story that proves real, there's a thousand that even Boris would be ashamed of. Keep those heads up.
From a very, very reliable source, i.e. it is true..................... Colin was playing golf in Plymouth today.

Well they’re players in the positions needed but whether they’re going to be good enough is questionable. Anyway good luck to them both if the deals take place.
The Stoke lad is an unknown quantity but it looks like he can play left back/left midfield so ticks boxes. Hugill is another centre forward journeyman and hardly an upgrade on Collins. We now have more "strikers" than we can shake a stick at so one or more must be going.......? Shame Giles not coming back.
Bluey - I quite fancy Hugill to do a job for us. He's no Mitrovic but he's a rough tough presence and he can hold the ball up. We need a constant threat up there to worry defenders. He'll goal hang and put himself about in the box unlike Collins who' runs all over the pitch doing it. Doyle and Ralls need options to play the ball forward into dangerous positions instead of having to go wide everytime. Hugill will make the ball stick and can bring others into play. Isaak Davies is wasted out wide on the right and needs to use his pace through the middle - Hugill could be the "wall" he plays off. Kieffer Moore (if he's still with us) doesn't do that for me. The other guy Doughty is an unknown factor. TBH, I've never heard of him, but understand he has pace and can play down the left from the back to the front. Is he a good replacement for Giles? One thing Giles couldn't ever do with us was finish - if this bloke can add that ability to his game, he could be better.
Not fussed on this.................... https://the72.co.uk/261103/swansea-...an-deal-for-bristol-city-striker-nahki-wells/
Me neither. Another journeyman. 31 years old. Comes with pension book. Wurzels trying to reduce wage bill.
Did well early in his career when his pace got him amongst the goals. Not so much now as he gets older although had a good year 19/20 at QPR with 13 in 26 games. Not done much with the Wurzels.
