Anyone watched that Howe presser on the official site? The usuall UK journo's asking the normal questions about injuries, what they expect to get out of the trip etc. Then comes the Saudi press, one of the first questions..."when will Newcastle be European champions or champions of the Premier League" No ****ing about from these lads
What did Howe say out of interest? Did he say it would be before or after the Saudis give women proper rights and stop killing people?
My mate just text me saying he's not sure on Nketiah and not keen on him so just done a bit of research on the lad: He's had 1176 mins in the EPL since 2017/18 (spent 19/20 at Leeds) season spread over 42 appearances (averaging out at 28mins per run out) scoring 5 goals - a goal every 235 mins (2.5 full games). He has a similar record in cup and European games 14 goals in 35 apps (again a goal every 2.5 games). But again limited time (1765 mins = 19.5 games) So a goal every 1.4 full games he plays. For England U21's he had 17 apps - 16 goals. At Leeds he had 17 league apps (but only 495 mins or 5.5 full games) and 3 goals (1.8 games per goal). 2 in 2 in the cups that year. For a 22 year old lad who's not been given any kind of run over the last 4/5 years, its not bad, I'd be happy if we had a striker on our youth books with that record when running out for the first team.
They never complain about our country living on blood money, but ad soon as their destitute football clubs are effected they start pretending their real ssue isn't what's really bothering them. Ie nufc being the next super club
