The joys of PL 'wage poisoning' + inflated transfer fees. Non PL clubs generally cannot endure both, so at least one of player + selling club are going to have to take a financial hit to get a deal done.
Whats with Spurs immediately being linked to any player Arsenal are associated with? Vlahovic, Kulusevski, Diaz and now apparently Melo. Either the media or Tottenhams staff have absolutely no original thoughts.(possibly both) You can guarantee if a player gets linked to Arsenal they will soon be linked to Tottenham - frankly it's embarrassing.
If we had never signed Vinicius what difference would it have made. Exactly none in my opinion. Dele or Bale would have played a few games more.
Eh? Vlahovic isn’t exactly some sort of well kept secret, everyone bloody wants him. Kulu has been thrown around for a while too. Seen nothing on Diaz and Arsenal, it’s all been Liverpool, and no idea who Melo is. Thought you meant the Bayern keeper there were whispers of but that’s Nübel. In any case it’s natural we’re both trying to sign players in a similar class because we’re both chasing the top 3 in the PL, or want to be.
Oh him. Seen nothing on our interest in him tbh. Always thought it was odd, the Pjanic/Arthur swap. More to do with finances for both clubs IIRC
He scored 10 goals and got 3 assists in 22 games, many of which were as a sub. Two of them were for a minute a piece.
Chuck enough muck and some might stick appears to be the approach for these last 3 days of the window.
