That's what I mean. Its not a case of just cutting prices across the board mid season. I'm sure this new regime will do everything possible to fill the stadium, it's just that some things are out of their control.
All this talk of filling the stadium , how are you ever going to get served at half-time with more than 12000 people in the ground ?
Ah, understand now. I thought her daughter was young, was skimming through from the link and didn't get the full picture. I would imagine that this chap will improve things sooner than later. Not sure how we stand in relation to other clubs for disabled arrangements. Still can't understand why anyone wants to be able to take under 2s. One lad tried it with first granddaughter and it was another 3 years before it was worthwhile taking her. And she was the most patient and least fidgety of the grandkids.
People who wanted to bring under 2's didn't generally want to bring them to watch the game, it was just so people with babies could still go to games without having to sort babysitters etc (I believe you used to be able to take an under 2 for free as long as they sat on your knee). Personally, I don't think it's a great idea having U2's there and I wouldn't change it.
As you've confessed you don't have a friend... when you say "asking for a friend", in future, we know it means you!
I don't think she, or many other people realistically do want to take under 2s. It's just a weird thing that happened under the Allams, when they were justifying the kids price nonsense at the start of the membership scheme they added a condition that technically under 2s aren't allowed in response to people saying babies had to pay full price. I doubt it would really be enforced. FC fan is definitely a fruitloop, but then they typically are aren't they.
My lad’s first game was at Fulham, he was about 18 months old. He chased a paper bag around for 90 minutes and learned the word “****er”.
I think things altered regarding kids sitting on knees because they would have increased the numbers trying to exit in an emergency over what they considered safe limits. A football thing, not a City one.
Grandson's first game he treated Upper West as an adventure playground with the aisleway as a sort of toboggan slope. My lad spent so much time catching him, we were on end of row seats, and apologising he waited until he had started school before taking him again.
The Lady has another daughter who was taken as a baby and is now a young woman and a City regular My mate was taken at that age when he was young, now in his 60's and a regular still. Gerram Young!
