Another issue with NUFC is we don't actually announce people when we sign them like many other clubs do, Trippier is an example. He was taking his photos at SJP two days before we even announced the lad, meaning he was probably a NUFC player a few days before the photo session, players can be signing the dotted line and we don't know until 4 days after the fact.
Patience is required chaps. We will make a couple more signings. If we stay up, the summer is when it will get juicy!

Pretty much every single media form is saying it will happen and Leverkusen need the money and want to sell. They are gonna make about 10 million pounds profit on him 6 months after signing him.
I really, really worry about deals like that. Boumsong is the most glaring example of when it goes horribly wrong. If he' pretty good and £4m back in July, why doesn't he have loads of suitors? Hopefully i'm wrong.
That's a fair fear, but it's not like he's a 10 million pound South Korean midfielder sitting on the bench at Swansea. A Champions League winner thought he was a good player.

Yeah but we need those types because the entire focus of this Jan window is additions who can help us survive. We needed a player up front to hold up the ball, we got it, we needed a top defensive addition we got it and if we add a stable CB we have a massive improvement at the back. Bruno would be a world class signing and would make people look, but I think these other lads are just as important. Bakker LB is a good move imo; under Bruce we signed lads like Kraft for that position. On the bench in france he was.
I think we should just pay them tbh. Carlos was a much harder sell, I think we walked away from Sevilla with smiles and handshakes, understanding each other. But we need this lad tbh, our midfield desperately needs the quality. Just give them the money and make their shareholders happy
