    Match Preview;
Reading head to the Kiyan Prince on Saturday in shocking form. They haven't won a game since November 27th (2-3 vs Swansea) and their last point was on January 3rd (vs Derby). Worth pointing out though, they only played twice in December due to COVID. They have lost their last five, including a cup loss to Kidderminster Harriers and a 0-7 loss to Fulham. Their top scorer is John Swift, with 8, then Tom Dele-Bashiru with 4, and next in the list is former R, David Junior Hoilett, with 3. Going into this game, they are 21st, so one place and two points above the relegation zone. Peterborough United, who lie in 20th place, do have a game in hand though.

To put that in perspective, since Reading last won a game, we've won 5, drawn 1 and lost 2. We're up in 4th with a game in hand on 5th place West Brom and a game in hand on 2nd place Blackburn, who are 4 points ahead of us. We've also, rather brilliantly, got a bit of a competition going for top scorer. Dykes is on 7 with Austin, Willock and Chair all on 5 goals. Pleasingly, Andre Gray is also creeping up the list of goalscorers, and now sits just behind those three on 4 goals.

Manager comments and team news to go up when they are on the official, enjoy those who'll make it, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

So another sort of game we notoriously **** up, and with Reading having their 2 main centre backs back from AFCON and Ejaria probably back after 9 games out ! Splendid. Just start our best available 11 Warbs ffs, no ****ing about. I wanna see Uncle going spastic down the wing, and plenty of decent crosses into that box. Wouldn't be averse to seeing Johansen dropped for this, he's been utter pony lately. Fingers crossed that Willock is fit ! Gonna be painful if he isn't

No game for a week and the opportunity to rest one or two in the cup means he’ll go full strength I’m sure of those who are fit.

Chair may well be back and well-rested for Boro given Morocco have Egypt. Dieng is probably there until Millwall but Marshall’s early form has meant he’s not really been missed.

Something must be up with Bonne as **** as he is he ought to be recalled IMO.

Warbs just doesn't like Bonne, I think Morocco will beat Egypt personally. Think Morocco could win it if there wasn't any skullduggery and dodgy reffing helping Cameroon to do so !

I’ve watched about seven minutes of the whole thing so I’ll take your word for it.

I've hardly watched any either mate, it's been dire. Just watched a few of Morocco's qualifiers for the World Cup and they've played some excellent stuff, shame Chair isn't fit to showcase his skills although he might struggle to get into the side anyway now

I’m far too busy watching Andre Gray’s qualifier against Narnia.

The AFCON Final is on Sunday 6th so this is the last Championship game that any of our players will miss. That said, I dont know what the regulations are concerning COVID and people returning from Africa. It might be too much to expect them back for Boro on the 9th but Barnsley on the 12th is surely a guarantee. Getting through in the cup was definitely a good move with the Millwall game moved to the 15th.

How match fit will they be
Don't they do any training to keep fitness levels up
Should hit the ground running after all the time spent sat on their arses during games

Right we need to secure 3 points tomorrow.
Reading are in a terrible state. They have lots of off field problems. FFP and on going money issues. Don’t be surprised if they get relegated that they do the same again.
McNulty said 2 days ago that the club is s##t and run badly. Moore has been stripped of the captaincy. Carroll is on his way out today to WBA. Pucas is off.
On the field they are not much better. Haven’t won for ages, dumped out of cup by kiddiminster. Have probably the worse defence in the division with a dodgy keeper.
    However
They can score. Swift normally plays a binder against us then is crap for the rest of the year. For the fake fans, as always, this is their cup final.
They will bring more than the usual 300 that they take everywhere else. I hear 1800.
I still remember that quote that sums them up:
“I don’t care if we get relegated as long as we beat QPR”.
If it was against anyone else I would say home win but I expect this to be harder than Swans.

I hope it’s a cakewalk today. We haven’t really thrashed anybody this season other than the 3-0 at Hull.

On the way down in a packed train. Time for a big win I think.

    I’ll take 1-0 of course.

Interesting stat: QPR have more points from their last 5 games (13) than Reading have from their last 16 games (11)...
