Whatever happens nufc will be in the mix right until the death.. I'm just enjoying it.. The ones we don't get? Who cares there's loads of players out there that can improve the side if we can get them.
Prefer this to having Ashley haggling like he's buying a Jekyll Rolex in Benidorm over some ****e like the hairdo from Leicester
This is is for me.. It's actually highly irritating seeing people complaining about failing to land top players. All they wanted was a club that tries as far as I recall? I think it's all great! failure is part of any success.
Football is fickle and ever changing. First we want one that tries. They're trying, but failing. Now we want one that tries and occasionally succeeds, hopefully in the next four days. I'm confident-ish they'll get a couple in, though I don't think they'll do much better than that because every other club is being either a) a right cockend about it, or b) are so badly run their owners can't see how much money they're just throwing away with soon-to-be-free players. Once we start getting players in, then we'll need a club that wins. It's the nature of things. Look at City. League One football isn't exactly a distant memory, yet they can't even be arsed turning up to CL matches these days. In terms of transfers, you seem to be on a different planet. Vlahovic is going to Juve.
It seems we're throwing offers at everyone, hoping something comes to fruition. I think a big problem is no one wants to work for Howe either, he has very little pull.
I think that has very little to do with it. The biggest issue is our league position and uncertainty about survival. Players will sign if they believe in the project, rergardless of whether Howe is a big pull or not. However, not many will sign if that project involves (at least) a year in the championship

I would also say that regardless of feelings on if Chris Wood will become a decent signing or not paying a reported £25m for him certainly didn't send out a message that we wouldn't pay over the odds for players....
Meant to be as DOF. My issue with this is that he could be immense with long term planning and building infrastructure - However he is ****ing ****e at spotting decent players .
His whole recruitment record in general is hopeless. He buys a hell of a lot of duds and has got rid of plenty of good players over the years. He is far too stubborn and seems to take an immediate decision on whether he likes someone or not.
Yep. Avatar for 2022-23 that there is no formal offer to Rafa to return as manager BEFORE the end of this season. Assuming you haven't already got an avatar bet with Munson covering the same time period.
He was sounded out for the Watford job on Saturday and turned it down. He's got a few options on the table. Personally I think he will wait for us, like he tried to in the summer. I think it depends how Howe gets on. We have a run now where we could get something out of the games, but they are just as likely to be bogey games - Everton, West Ham, Brentford, Brighton. Lose them and Howe is done. We have a run of Liverpool, City and Arsenal which could seal our fate in the league.
