According to most people he has no financial backing at Leeds, so if he took his skills to Leicester it must surely increase his chances of promotion? If we could get compensation for Grayson and bring Dougie Freedman in it would be the best business the club has ever done.
If Grayson did go to Leicester it would be interesting to see if people would start to run him down like they did with Schmeichel.
I wouldn't slag Grayson off if he went to Leicester. I'd be a little disappointed, but I wouldn't blame him for thinking it's a good career move - going from working under a man with deep pockets and short arms, to working in complete freedom. Well, it's not really, it wouldn't surprise me if the Thai owners had something to say about who got signed. And there'd be way more pressure. And he'd have to work with what he has, which includes not a single decent winger. What am I saying? I'd laugh at him for being stupid enough to think it's a good career move
i think i'd be more than dissapointed if he were to go. Why would he think that is a good career move? He has built his own squad here. And he'd have to complain about having schmeichal again....
The financial freedom. Money doesn't play as big a part for outsiders, but it plays a huge part for a manager.
The bookies know nothing. Leicester will want a high-profile appointment as part of their 'branding initiative' in Thailand, which is why their owners took them over after all. I'd say McLaren or O'Neill would be far more likely than Grayson.
Be even more fun to see how SG would handle being back with the goalkeeper he slagged off on his way out the door, eh?
but for this season, leeds are more likely to get promoted. You cant change a squad enough half way through a season to make it exceptional from ordinary. And he'd be leaving his dream job as well.
True. Heat of the moment though, promise of money and freedom. It's highly unlikely, I'm not even 100% sure he has trouble with Bates. Of course, we all know he gets **** all money from Bates but as far as I was aware he still had a good relationship with the fat old ****er.
Seems all the sad cases over on the Leicester board who refuse to accept they are in serious trouble have gone to bed. That's my entertainment gone! Anyone else going down to the Crisp Bowl next sunday?
