Wherever GMc ends up, when we have a clear out many of those leaving will be heading to where he goes...
I’d argue anyone could have got us out of l1 and it wasn’t a difficult job, but I haven’t got the time
Is he still up here? He lived in Cumbernauld(Dullatur, big fancy palace) for some years but I haven't seen him for a while? I see Alan Rough on a regular basis over at pets at home, private reg k33p3r 1 or something like that(should be fatbastard1,he's ****ing huge)..
They may be true, but doesn't change the fact the players where really playing for him, the same as this season... Behind the scenes he's a great man manager and the players honestly do really respect him
So fuxking what Jimmy greaves used to say the only thing that United spurs was their hatred of bill Nicholson the manager Who gives **** if they love him to bits It’s not a popularity contest If they don’t put it in for the next manager cos he’s not lively n cuddly they’ll be moved on and rightly so Train hard play hard and do what the new man wants or yer out
Sacking him now maybe harsh to some, how many more managers would have kept their jobs after that relegation season? I bet he walks into a job much easier now than he would had he got sacked when we got relegated. Harsh sacking now possibly but he was lucky he got the chance to repair his cv
Roughy is a legend, I like him a lot. I’m not sure tbh (Hatekey) he did own Duck Bay, but not sure whether or not he sold that. I live down in the Port so you don’t get many ballers coming down here , although Defoe lived here when he first moved up and was in Tesco a few times. Where are you (unless you don’t want to say)?
That must be a record. Wins against the 3rd placed, then 2nd and out the door. That's football. Its a cut throat bizz. But I guess that's how they like it to be. No sentiment. Good luck Terry, whatever the case.
i'd argue that this season's problems were all down to honeyman's operation and the last relegation was down to bowen and grosicki being sold. i'd also argue than anyone could have got us out of division 3 in 1984-85.
He really should have gone when we went down. For whatever reason he was retained and did himself and us plenty of good in the promotion season. He won't be out of work long as others have said. Appears he's been aware he was going and has accepted that and still got on with his job - fair play to him. I'm pretty indifferent to him, have been since day one to be honest, and wouldn't have been too fussed if he'd seen the season out. At least it's a clean cut. None of that Newcastle nonsense.
