    Tbf I cant remember the mackems giving away free tickets. I vaguely remember them giving some away to people for helping out with laying red and white cards out before the derby. Overall half price season tickets are good for the club and the fans. Fans get cheap tickets, SJP sells out, club makes more money and hopefully the team performs better <ok> Win win.

    I'm not saying it's a bad idea by the club, but we must appreciate the fact that Sunderland have used similar tactics which Cestria finds so hilarious.

    I am all for cheaper tickets for young fans and such like and We have had £19 season tickets and £10 school match day tickets for a while now. The humour in this case is that your lot always ridiculed up and ripped the piss but now all of sudden your doing the right thing.

    Quinny led the way and newcastle follow on.
