Must admit to being a little confused here, we won and this is the match thread, yet fans are liars and we have gone off on a tangent about the filth and their owners?

All because of one 'realistic' person (I nearly said 'fan') deliberately looking to disrupt, unfortunately <doh>

On the Portsmouth game we were the better team over the 90 minutes but the slow start was worrying and we could have been 2 or 3 goals down before we created our first of three quick attacks within a five minute spell and we thankfully converted one of these, and won the game. LJ earned his moment yesterday so can be well forgiven for his celebrations at the end if I had been there I would have joined him no question. We move on and fingers crossed we move closer to Wigan over the next few games and put the pressure on them , still a long way to go and a lot of points to play for. OaU

I think Doyle deserved a shout too, but isn't that indicative of our strength in depth which hopefully will see us triumph this year, and also a shout for LJ who to give him credit, has the players all giving 100% for the full 90 minutes and makes a mockery of the rumours of unrest in the camp

    All true.

Games aren't won in the first 25 minutes and it was hardly backs to the wall, just sloppy play which was frustrating tbf.

We've had quite a few quick starts in games we haven't won so I'll take this quite happily.

Apart from the goal, I think Embo is a bit fortune to be in the top 4 as well.

Agree, he just shaded it over Batth for mom in my opinion

Not necessarily for his attacking flair but I think it was an excellent, hard working, professional performance from him. Something I wouldn't have expected from him tbh as he wants to do the tricky skillful stuff. I thought he was superb.

Agreed, took his goal well mind but Doyle was superb at the back with Batth.

Again I agree, it's the work he did without the ball when we were under the cosh that impressed me. Him and Stewart never stopped pressing, harassing and making themselves available

Gooch played well imo, nothing worth MOTM but he never gave Portsmouth a breather.

    So what ?
As long as he gets us promoted.
He can strip off and streak across the pitch for all I care ;)

A manager getting slated for celebrating wins FFS .
If he didn't celebrate he'd probably get slated for having no passion.

Paolo Di Canio seemed to be liked for celebrating. Fat Sam, etc.
