Shearer seemed to be trying to make Trippier out to be the signing of the century but he did, belatedly, mention how Leeds didn’t take advantage of the numerous times that they got behind the left back.
Probably missing the presence of Bamford, who would have been taking up positions for receiving the pull backs and getting shots on goal.
Newcastle are a long way from being revitalised and were pushed back for long periods of the game, with Saint Maximin being their only attacking threat. If he gets a 4-6 weeks injury, they will be doomed.

 

Palace v Liverpool should be a good game. Liverpool really need to win but Palace are a tough side to play at Selhurst.
