    Who did the TV award man of the match to? They didn’t seem to do it on my stream but it might have happened when I walked away because I couldn’t watch

    Usually they give it pre-stoppage time but they seemed to assume City would get a winner so didn’t want to give it to a saints player

    Great result. Great defending. Great goal from KWP.

    I reckon that was Romain Perraud's best game for Saints. Was up against Sterling and Jesus and got the better of both.

    Great point. First half pressed City high and caused them problems. Second half we got too deep until the last ten minutes but just about hung on!

    So proud of our team tonight. City scored once in 4 halves of football against us. And from a set piece (rather irritatingly!) Not many teams will go unbeaten against them in the league. Lots of standout performances but Salisu just produced an amazing display. VVD would be proud of that performance. Just amazing for a 22 year old to do that against the best team in world football right now.

    It’s amazing how much you can drink watching footie til 3:30 in the morning, at least the result will take the edge off my hangover!
