I think he has a low technical level personally. That’s my view. Some of his best goals would suggest otherwise, and some of his instinctive finishes were excellent. I just watch him and he looks a bit average in terms of all round game. He also looked very unfit last time I watched him for Spurs. Conte dropped him as soon as others returned. Of course it’s all about levels and desperate needs. Hence we went for Wood. The market isn’t as open to us as everyone would like so Howe is taking ****. We are all frustrated. Reality is it’s a collective effort but obviously no one wants to say the owners are struggling, you don’t bite the hand that is feeding you. The fact that we can get an Alli or a Wood, but are struggling to finalise the likes of Carlos, Haidara, Lingard tells its own story. Our level is a concern to them. Not the manager, not the future, not anything else. Players will look after number one quite rightly. Right now, Trippier is looking like a fortuitous anomaly.
