So what you are saying is that we should really focus on how people have performed this season and not take into account - let's say - the previous two seasons, even if they did better than expected in those two seasons?

Seems fair to be honest, because it is how people have performed this season that dictates whether we go down or not - even if the reasons behind how they have performed this year can stretch back over a number of years.
