The best thing to say about this is at least you don't have ****heads saying it should go ahead because of what's been spent, which we heard an awful lot of with the Garden Bridge

But where did the £900 million go , it would only take some bloke in a hard hat,hi vis and a clipboard standing on the pier at Birkenhead to take one look towards northern Ireland and say " nah that ain't going to work " and bill the government for a return ticket to Euston plus a Tesco meal deal

I was working down there on Tues and the lorry parks were almost full and you can see the verges next to the hard shoulder are starting to fill up with bags and bottles of " waste " , on line today the traffic cameras are turned off , it's as though the authorities do not want you too see the mess
Not many shots of Farage standing on the Dover cliffs with his binoculars

I'll bet it looks and smells like freedom, though?

It's hard to blame the idiots, really. Too many politicians sound exactly like that right now.

    I certainly didn't! <laugh>

What can the normal, average person do about the state of this country, though?
Our media has been utterly consumed by a small number of rich ****ers.
Most people don't pay attention to what's going on and that's promoted by the same twats.
How do we make things better? It seems to be something of a worldwide trend.

Everyone needs to vote. I won't discuss politics with people who don't. **** 'em.

Parents have to educate their children. My kids aren't drawn to politics but they understand how important it is to vote, how to get a balanced view of what's happening and how much it will mean to the quality of their lives.

We can all do something to make it better.

I'm sure Boris is asking his handlers if he's allowed to do something about this right now. Honest.

Gerbil Burglar News have announced the twelve standup comedians who will take part in their first comedy festival

Amazingly, Lee Hurst isn't one of them

Are any of them funny? I sincerely doubt it, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Simon Evans and Rhona Cameron are the only ones I've ever heard of, if that's an indication...

Rhona Cameron? What's she been doing for the last 20-odd years?
Isn't she a little too "woke" for them, being pretty gay and all? They wouldn't be virtue signalling, would they?

It's fair to presume that they meant to invite David instead
