Anyone get it yet? I downloaded it on Saturday from Steam and my God there is a lot to get used to. The tactics window is all kinds of different and the team window had a button to separate the squad and club information so you can't just click on your team name to see the squad anymore. I do like the new team meeting feature and the team talks though. I also like how you can have a list of saved shouts instead of going in and selecting them individually. Your thoughts?
brought my copy 30 quid it looks ok im charlton of course signed rocky baptiste on a free goal machine
I always start with United to get used to the new features. It took me 3 hours to set up tactics, training etc before I played my first match.
I have never played any of the FM games through fear my life would then be over. Anyway, they can't be as good as the great 'United' on the Spectrum.
yeah its got far too busy lately. i didnt think id move off 2009, but im definitely not moving from 2011. although the regens dont seem as good as previous versions.
The best regens I ever had was on 2010 and the longest game I ever had was my Arsenal game on 2008. I find the enjoyment is reduced by every new game as you need to be a brilliant tactician and man manager to have any success.
How do you play? I usually start in the lower leagues and sell my whole team, if I can, and buy children and grandads (figuratively), spending big on 16 year olds and play them as much as possible in the hope I can make a few bucks in a year or 2, to buy another 16 year old that's better. When I've got bored of winning everything 5 or 6 years in a row I sell everyone and try to make a champion winning side from my youth team. Tactically I generally start with a longball 4-1-4-1 formation gradually moving to fast high pressure 3-4-3 or 3-4-1-2 as I start winning things. gonna wait for reloaded to do their stuff.
