    said it all along but just to repeat myself Jota ain't the best player or anywhere need it but ,and it is a huge but , he really has the priceless ability to be in the right place to get a chance and he takes enough of them to be prolific .

    He knows how to scream on the way down and knows where the goal is. The first is common for Portuguese players, the second is quite unusual.

    Well ropey first 10 15 mins then we scored and just controlled the second half. Arsenal came out again but we were never really under pressure then the second goal kills it off, and what a goal it was.

    Kelleher, ever so reliable. Don’t feel worried about him being in net at all. If anything happened to Ali, then have a very good deputy, hope he doesn’t want to go off and be first choice elsewhere. If I was klopp be saying stay and learn from Ali for a couple years, we’ll play you in all the cups cos I can see him being first choice if he continues to develop.

    Matip had a stinker and bravo for klopp taking him off there.

    Jones, like him. Just offers different things to our midfield and has to play if Thiago isn’t playing as he at least offers some sort of attacking threat.

    Gordon, game passes him by in first half, second half was better shame about the miss, but right place and decent movement. Still raw though

    Have to say ramsdale was awful on that first goal.

    Every replay it looks worse.

    Not sure jota has read the keeper gambling or just hit it poorly.

    The second is a class ball, chest and dink.

    I think his only downfall (from us fans perspective) is he looks a bit light wait so doesn't always fill you with confidence. Seems to deal with most things though

    I was never overly concerned about tonight, their draw at Anfield was their best performance against us in a long time.
    I was confident we'd win a game where they had to give it a go.
