Looks very much like Eddie rates our midfielders and doesn’t see it as much of a priority. We may, or may not, be putting in bids for a dodgy looking CB (who’s now going to a London club) and a German left back. Possibly still talking about Zapata and Nunez. Again, to repeat, because Eddie thinks defenders stop goals and strikers means goals. He really is thick as Bruce. In fact I think he might be worse.
That’s what I said earlier this is what they should be doing. It may be what they are doing I guess. I just can’t believe out of all the football clubs and players we can’t find one or two willing to sell us players we need at the right prices. Clubs are desperate for money.
To be fair to bruce in his style of play and method he wanted a “willock” and he got the best out of him last season. I just can’t believe we are still having conversations about Lascelles and Shelvey. Howe has even gone on record as to say he wants to build the team around them.
