That’s the thing. The players they appear to be trying to buy are for silly money and prob don’t want to come.
That’s all well and good. But time is tick a tocking. For every game that passes and we don’t win (I’ve said that all bloody season to be honest) it gets harder and harder.
Not just that. There are plenty of players out there at massive clubs needing game time who are not playing. It so far appears that we have not even thought about loaning players.
Actually it's a mix. Botman Carlos want to it's the clubs. If you aim low you might miss out. People really need to accept that the PIF know what they're doing more than them. They're not the Venky brothers or the local businessmen that thinks he's a big shot. They're the real deal

I assumed they would have been looking at the right players and would possibly have signed a cm and a cb since they are the positions we crucially needed. That was until Wilson got injured.
You just do not under any circumstances walk into a buying market the 1st time waving money around. You set a precident early on.
That’s why they have done. And it hasn’t worked. They thought they could. See that’s what a DoF and the right team do. They get things right. No doubt they will learn and get it right. I’m happy with that. But this window so far (caveat right there) has been extremely poor. As expected and for whatever the reason.
To be honest. The PL have proper ****ed us over in reality. If the takeover had gone through when it should have sometime before the season started then PIF would have had a more ideal market place. I still think clubs would have shafted us left right and centre mind.
