The plan seems to be working even if the personnel aren’t ideal for it. Like PNP I’d be tempted to give someone other than Højbjerg a go on the left of midfield this half, he’s got into a couple of good positions where a left footer with more attacking instincts might have had better delivery.

Gio Lo Celso your time is now…

Criminal to create so many chances and not be ahead, and we all know we only ever have 1 good half and I don't think that was the bad half!!!

England will have Philips and Rice and like it.
I get the feeling that the manager gets that from his local takeaway.
    "Philips and Rice, Mr Southgate?"

Or Bryan and go 343. Winks and Skipp look good in the middle.

He’s had good games but also had bad games and needs to cut the errors out. Like I already said, I’m not writing him off but I want more consistency from him.

Excellent first half by Spurs. Easily the better team and we should be at least 2 goals to the good.

As others have said Skippy has been Excellent, so dynamic.
Emerson infuriating the hell out of me. His final ball so poor.
Love for Bergwijn to come on 2nd half because there's some great counter attacking options with Leicester being so open.

We have 3 left footed players on the bench but you've gone with Lo Celso. 10 minutes on the thinking step please.

It’s the only real option if we don’t want to change the system, which we shouldn’t. Tielemans and Maddison are too much for a 2 to deal with.

Neither play CM though. This is literally the position he plays for Argentina. It was him or Dele for me to suggest without changing the system and it’s a hard choice of who to name without losing all of my credibility <laugh>

He's the next Stevie P. From me, that's the highest of praise.

Dunno who the current England U21 captain is. ;)

Skipp meets my outfield player criteria.
He appears to have the temperament (not seen him lose his head) ,
Whether he can instruct/raise/cajole his team-mates is the unknown.

A lower league domestic cup or UEFA "dead rubber"
opposition are the times you can give it a go, but we don't
have that luxury for the rest of the season.

Just seen the goal, I missed the first 20 mins or so. Reggie needs to do a lot better than that.

He’s primarily had good games though. He’s been very good for us, especially since Conte came in. He should've done better for Leicester’s goal but he’s easily been one of our better performers this season and his attacking stats have also been really impressive, to put into perspective, Danny Rose’s best ever season for us was probably 15/16 and he finished with a goal and four assists in the Prem, Reguilon already has a goal and three assists this season.

Might as well go full RCL and go for Samir Nasri.

Rose was a better tackler at his best and to be fair frequently played in a back 4. But I think Reggie does have the potential to be very good, though Sessegnon may actually have a higher ceiling if he is ever fit enough to play more than once a month.

We don’t need another CM at the moment, Skipp and Winks have a decent hold of the game. If we get Hojbjerg off, get a winger/ wing forward on and aid Kane and Lucas in the attack. Their defence Is struggling big time to deal with Harry, if he has another face to aim for/ help him I think we could nick a couple this half.

I too worry about Sess’s fitness but I trust his attacking instincts more.
