The ****ing Apprentice. And no, Prokofiev is not the man whose music I would want playing when my team walks onto the pitch.

It is a great football ground and there is certainly an atmosphere. Certainly better than I experienced at Sunderland. Plus, what piss? Unless you or the people you go with suffer with incontinence then that shouldn't have been an issue.

Upton Park/ Boleyn Ground (once) - nice stadium shoved in the middle of a ****e area
St James' Park (once) - great stadium
Springfield (several times) - pretty terrible, but we have a ****e football team so we don't need a decent 'stadium' (it's just a stand really)
Stade Artemio Franchi (once) - bit ****e really

OK then, it's a matter of personal opinion. I think Fratton Park is a dump, I've only been there once and it may be better if you've got a decent seat or if there's an atmosphere, but I can't see myself going there in the near future (mainly because the're in a different league to Sunderland). I think that the Stadium of Light is fantastic and a great place to be, you may think otherwise, you may have watched a **** match. It's personal opinion and at the end of the day it's only a lump of concrete.

I've had great experiences at the Stadium of Light, you've had great experiences at Fratton Park. You've also probably had great experiences at the KC.

The train line was there before the stadium was redeveloped. The original plans were to build over the train line but the other side of that is houses. Hill 16 has a historical resonance as well that most folk like. It is considered the place to be for a big match. I know it doesn't look as good as the rest of the stadium, but it is some sight.

Croke park is an incredible stadium for an amateur organisation and Hill 16 is probably its most identifiable features.

There's another Toon supporter who's from Jersey as well, and a mate of mine on the Leicester board who's posted twice or something. As far as i know that's it though...cruelly under represented! <laugh>

The atmosphere when I went to Fratton Park was decent. Trying to get something to eat is ****ing impossible though!

It's a lot better than some of the new grounds you get nowadays!
