The last time I was at the Richo arena was it's opening... we were greated outside by bricks. Before that I went to the Highfield Road game 96? where that Jess? fella scored late on. Massive turn out of QPR fans and usual fights outside.
That's the fella Bob I recall after he scored he goaded the QPR fans which annoyed us and then it was a bit 'fisty cuffs' outside. Im sure they chucked something at our coach window. funny club
Don't worry about them, I would be more concerned if my cousin and hes mates see me with a cravat . they are an horrible lot of QPR fans.
I was also at the 96 game against Coventry. A fully paid up member of the old gits club now . I booked a Ryanair flight to go to the game on Saturday a few weeks back. Bargain I thought at 26 euros day return. A week later I got an email saying they were cancelling my flights and was I interested in the alternative flights, as follows. Birmingham-Dublin-Birmingham with a 25 minute stopover in Dublin. FFS I booked Dub-Birm-Dub for a few hours to see a match. I enjoyed my little trip over at the weekend but the covid protocols bars, restaurants and public transport were quite off putting so I might wait a while till things improve a bit before going again. I suppose that is a different thread.
Right have a great game and safe trip everyone. I have just downloaded that Uber thing so hopefully I can get a car to the ground and back from the station… if not a bus I will check what pubs the R’s are drinking in. all we need is 3 points!
Get the shuttle bus you tart. It’ll be the one with all the football fans on and “RICOH ARENA” in big neon letters on the front.
If any of you guys going along tomorrow see a bloke wearing a San Francisco baseball cap, give me a wave or say hello!
