I've said before I think he has more chance of staying in the job if we are relegated. I think it was partly why they appointed him, the situation was already desperate. They'll have done their homework and will have quickly seen how few clubs survive when you are sat with 0 wins and 5 points at the 8th November after 11 games. You're getting towards a third of the season gone. Its why most managers avoided the role. They will have looked at the squad having missed out on the window due to the PL tomfoolery, the lack of interest in the role, and thought all these people can't be wrong, we are right up against here.

I don’t understand the angst on here about the time taken to get players in , in particular towards the clubs attempts to get the required players in None on here are managers/ agents / or connected to the workings of a pro club, anyone? If a club doesn’t want to sell us a player it is entirely up to them, if they want to take the piss and keep upping the price, they can Many clubs don’t want to lose their better players mid season,simple as that Also I don’t want piss takers coming here either so I hope we can get what we need soon but won’t get hysterical about it

A whole new squad and I'd keep Trippier as captain with Wilson and Wood as backup at a push especially Wilson who's becoming a bit of a sicknote and unreliable and before everyone starts but,but he's the only one who scores,where would we be without him etc He's a CF and played 16 games with 6 goals,it's his job!
I'd put a bid in for Henderson at Man U ASAP. I think Dubs is ok but I think Henderson is better. If he is as pissed off as reported then I think he would make a good signing. I agree with what you say though, its just time to overhaul. I don't think we should waste money if we go down like we did last time. If relegation is going to make FFP tricky (which I'm not convinced if the punishment is fines ), then I'd rather we were cute about it. Trippier has been a great signing and the kids looks rock solid character wise. More of that please.
