I don’t think a lot of people realise how bad relegation will be from a FFP angle. We can’t spend money if we can’t raise our commercial income. Which we can’t do in the championship. There are two projects. The long one which is being seriously impacted by…. The short one. Which Howes remit was and is keep us in the PL or you have failed.
Personally feel like we got lucky with Trippier wanting to come back and us looking like we would push on and now the reality has set in we won't get players anywhere near the quality of Trippier. I don't get this sudden criticism of Wood after one game too, in the situation we are in half way through the season probably going down he is about what you could reasonably expect to come in and he consistently scores double figures. If he fails here then fine but give the bloke a chance and don't judge him because people were actually thinking there was a chance Dembelle could come in

It’s more than that. People say “ahhh, a clean start” not realising another relegation would mean Lascelles, Shelvey, Ritchie, Hayden all staying again because we won’t be able to recruit better. The thought that we can’t recruit now because of the perilous position, yet we can recruit AFTER relegation is ****ing mental!
