Can you guess how many points United were off the top this exact time last year ( i'll give you a clue, it's between 4 and 6) How did that season turn out again ? In regards to speaking to City fans the answer is 'fair play you hammered us' gutted yes but it's only one game out of 38.
We really shouldnt drop any points between now and January if you look at our fixtures. I would expect 30+ out of the next 12 taking us to mid january. Anything less and the title race could be citys for the taking.
I think he has been ok. I don't think he will make that position his own long term as I think there's better left backs out there and City will keep looking to improve. Also a belated congratulations for yesterday ( although it hurts saying it ).
He likes to get up the wing and get crosses in, we were warned he leaves the defence wide open but so far he has done well, i think he is an exciting player to watch and was a steal at at £7 million.
VIR Quest The Quest For Twenty, if our defence is so bad why have we only conceded 7 goals in the prem this season compared to the rags 12. We will be their or their abouts as long as we improve from l;ast season and finish 2nd I will be very contented.
City Wolves H QPR A Newcastle H Liverpool A Norwich H Chelsea A Arsenal H United Everton A Sunderland H Swansea A Newcastle H Aston Villa A Wolves H QPR A Each sides next 7 league games leading up to the last game before Christmas. I would be massively surprised if City are more than 5 points ahead if any come the end of that run.
De gea is the weakest link and would make crucial errors.. De gea is more like our Luiz - young & raw..
I base my opinion on Clichy over his whole career not just a few games for city. yes hes been doing ok so far but on the whole hes been a pretty average player for his career so far. Shows the odd bit now and again that makes you think hmmm, this guy might just be something good..... but then its back to his old ways. At city you might not notice it as you guys have a ****ing quality squad at the end of the day and its gonna take something special to get near your defence most times so hes not gonna get much of a challenge really. We will still win the league and I am sure you guys know that regardless of you smashing the **** out of us last sunday it doesnt change much in the league. We have 12 winnable games coming up, games where we are expected to win each on before we have the next run of tough games.
I think thats unfair, de gea has shown a lot recently to shut his critics up. Hes a world class shot stopper already imo, the guy pulls off saves that shouldnt be possible regularly but he needs to command his area better. it will come though.
I wouldn't have the audacity to make such a statement about Manchester City however like most fans here i hope that comes back to bite you on the arse at the end of the season.
What he is supposed to say, ' Man City have a better chance of winning the league, despite 30 games left to play.'
City's defence? You managed 1 at home against this pish poor defence you speak of while they bagged 6 against yours
What about the 4 you conceded to Tottenham? Does that make you think Tottenham will finish above Liverpool this season? Thought not.
Let's wait and see where the clubs are when we have got the Chritmas and New Year fixtures out of the way. Maybe then we will be able to see if there is any changes in where the teams lie in the league.
