Baz was told by Acun it was expected to take 48 hours. Acun also announced to the world on Turkish TV that it was done.
Club needs to very urgently (if it hasn't already) draw up alternate January plans to bring in 2-3 free signings. I would also hope there is some ability to get confirmation on a timeframe from the EFL so we know how we're placed for the window. I'd also think Acun may want to advance the funds to repay the EFL loan so we're not embargoed.
I imagine he will get confirmation it’s done & then plan to fly over to do the media. He will want to be stood on the pitch not only with scarf above ahead but with his first signing(s). We’ve had a good insight into his character over the last few months and he doesn’t come across as someone who will work quietly in the background.
Do the EFL normally release their own statement approving a takeover, or do they just inform the club so they can announce it in their own time?
Just reading the MDT and some comments on possible changes McCann could make etc. What an utter shambles our club currently is! In a relegation scrap, 2 points out of 15, now 18 days into a transfer window with less than 2 weeks left, no signings but one notable departure. Having no full backs for what is it, 2 months or so (yes, **** happens but still). Currently dependent on a front 2 of Tom Eaves and Tyler Smith. Also dependent on young lads in key positions with hardly any experienced heads to guide them, and a squad so short of real quality for this level. And then there's the off field shambles. Good job it's only Blackburn and Bournemouth next. Jeez, we need this takeover finally done asap. (I know, nothing new, just a reality check moment).
Yep - we were dreadful, very poor v’s Blackpool, but also decent against Forest & Everton - Barnsley & Peterborough currently have less decent days than we do!
Still doesn't mean he will fly here straight away once it's confirmed. But, if it makes some happy following his plane then happy days.

I think once he gets confirmation the takeover is done he will give the green light for identified signings to be completed. I still think the media announcement will come on the back of this. It doesn’t affect the clubs ability to do business just doesn’t help with our nerves!
