Only PL players in the entire squad when Howe joined - Manquillo, ASM, Wilson. So far we’ve signed a right back and a centre forward, so stands to reason we need to get a left wing forward asap. Heaven forbid we try and replace Ritchie, Lascelles and Shelvey.

I honestly cannot work out for the life of me what they’re doing. Whoever “they” are. From Trippier to Wood, now on to Dembele? Or is Tarkowski?! It’s all over the ****ing place. And nearly 2/3 through the window, with no LB CB and CM, which were the key priority positions already.
Indeed but why waste a single second on these top end prima donnas? We can not have any real idea about them, as there’s no way that dickhead Nickson has been regularly watching the likes of Dembele. It just smack of stupidity. No plan evident anywhere.
