I wonder why half of our fans have been under estimating de Marseille, I think they're a decent side to be honest. I'm sure you've all heard of Taiwo, Rémy, González & our Gabriel Heinze. I haven't seen Heinze play for a while, I hope he's still the same player as we all knew he was. Can Taiwo keep Nani quite? Is Heinze going to attack as he use to? Will Rémy be in Vidic's pocket? Those are all questions going through our minds at this moment, I surely think we'll give them a great game.
As far as Marseille go, it isn't underestimation. They aren't that great. They are 3rd in the French league, a league that hasn't exactly produced many teams that have challenged to win the Champions League in living memory. We should be beating them and I expect us to beat them. Current league leaders are Lille. How many of their players can you name? What pedigree do they have? And they're 6 points ahead of Marseille. If you want to give Marseille credit, fair enough. But don't overestimate them, for fear of underestimating them. We could have drawn a lot better teams and if we don't beat them, then we deserve to be out in the 2nd round.
It may be fairly close, but Marseille are far from being a European super power and I'm sick of reading about how we shouldn't underestimate them. They wouldn't finish in the top 5 in the PL. If we carry the right attitude, we will beat them, regardless of the margin.
