I have no idea what a nitro rage is. But the news is that we have made an offer for Hazard and it’s been accepted but he doesn’t want to come.
Decent shouts these I have to say. Being realistic is important at this stage. I know the owners won't want to hear it, but covering both bases in terms of players who might be happy to stay should we drop might not be the worst call. If we leave it to the very last minute, other teams will enter that discussion.
What a surprise. They're flogging a dead horse to names like that this window. If only Howe had won a few games
Blackburn have even indicated that they wouldn’t get in the way of a player progression which sounds to me like they would sell. I wonder if Howe doesn’t want a player like him. He can play football. Wood is more an old fashioned battering ram.
Howe is managing out of a Manual. That's why he's fell into the trap of signing donkeys and relying on experience.
I think its more a problem he has the likes of Leeds, West Ham and Sevilla tracking him. Being honest, if you weren't a toon fan, who would you sign for right now?
I'd say to my agent tell nufc to call me in 12 weeks if they stay up and if pushed I'd go to West ham now
He and I are big mates. He’s quiet, doesn’t like arguements, doesn’t post very often but when he does the posts are pretty deep and to the point. He doesn’t use his name as his username.
That's the reality of our situation. The thing I'd like about him in comparison to Wood (who I still think will do ok) is you have a guy on absolute fire. Bringing that confidence into a set currently bereft of any for the last 6 months has to be a positive.
Indeed, but unfortunately there's a large number of fans that cannot seem to understand that position. 12 weeks is nothing and it's the players long term careers and usually involves their children's lives being affected too. The players would quite sensibly take a more secure choice unless it suited them which it did in Trippiers case because his family were unhappy and wanted to move back to northern England. Loans might be the only way, but even that's failing as far as we know anyway. I'm sure they'll get a few in, but I'm not expecting anything particularly exciting.
