Post whatever you like Jammy. I loved Alf Garnett, Love thy Neighbour, It ain't half hot mum, but I also liked Laurel and Hardy, The two Ronnies and Morecambe and Wise.
It's freely available on youtube. Whilst I'm not saying I'm a fan of it, I don't see it as being detrimental to our society.
There are very few 1970's sitcoms that wouldn't offend some group or other today from Fawlty Towers to Some Mothers do ave em, there are elements everywhere that will offend. Even James Bond has had to be almost rebranded from a womanising sociopath.
How about today's TV.....drivel such as the masked singer, I'm a nobody get me out of here,the cabins etc.. it's as if people who lived through the 70's should be ashamed they where around at the time, and as for 007 well surely he will be a transvestite shortly.....load of gash or maybe not!
