Relegation looks more interesting than title atm.

5 teams at the bottom all starting to look in trouble, although I expect Everton will eventually pull away from the other 4.

Can't see Burnley surviving, so it'll be down to Newcastle, Watford or Norwich to fill the other 2 places

It's almost as much fun as watching Man U trying to find the right manager.

Would be a miracle if Norwich survive, given their season so far. I'm amazed they're still in with a shout, tbh.

Hopefully their season will completely implode around them

Wow everton are turning to Bobby brown shoes again.

    Unbelievable.

Team couldnt defend at all and is far inferior than it had been when he was sacked.

Tuchel talking about new signings saging rsther have players back from injury. Says see Liverpool last year weren’t able to compete for title and they were only missing vvd so let players are important.

I mean I think the lack of vvd Matip and Gomez for 75% of season was prob main reason. We were doing fine without vvd until the other 2 also got injured but sure <doh>

I see moyes was whinging about covid and other teams getting away with murder.

I also hear that arsenal were able to put on a full training session at the etihad on the same day their league game v spurs was supposed to be on. seems to be the 13+1 rule was not precisely applied.

a lot of whinging going round to be honest but i fail to see how spurs can whinge when they gained massively over us for example before christmas but i suppose all clubs moan and want the advantage.

west ham are fighting for 4th here so having a little moan is probably right as others should have lost games and are going to zoom past them as thier play them at thier leisure later in the season when they are out of cups and the sun is on thier back a little.

Thing is, all these clubs calling games off are then going to moan when they have to play 4 games in 7 days to fit them in.

Its unfortunate for some as their games have been postponed due to the other teams numerous times so are then going to get screwed later on.

The arsenal one is a joke. And it’s not arsenals fault, they’re going by the prem rules. But the fact they have 1 player out with covid isn’t what the rules were put in place for and spurs statement was 100% correct in what they said.

Arsenal are only 2 games behind now and have no europe so rearranged games for them is fine in theory. Plenty free week days to fit games in. Spurs and Leicester are now 4 games behind so going to have to do a lot of catching up with mid week games. Lucky for them neither have Europe anymore. I think Spurs have right to moan. They had 1 game off with snow, and then think it’s only the Brighton game they’ve postponed themselves so been a bit unfortunate.

Don’t think it’s any coincidence that the clubs in Europe haven’t really requested any games to be postponed with knowledge that it will only come back to hurt them later on though.

IMO the way the government is going at this point covid will be a moot point next time. however I do think the prem need to get together as some clubs followed the rules and took the hit or were rejected in their own applications and some seemingly got handed massive dispensations for quite little.

Leeds got destroyed in december. they called the one game off against us after seeing loads and imo they could have played that one.

Leicester have loads of games now to fill in but the issue is finding the slot to play them in where the teams they played are available. they are in the conference league knock outs and fa cup so its not like theres any actual slots that they can fit 4 games into

Spurs are in the **** as well but again are still in the FA cup so can't rely on that to help.

IMO these clubs will struggle in the later months of seasons with 2 games a week.

    ACON fixtures:
    Guinea v malawi Tuesday
    Senegal v zimbabwe tuesday
    Egypt v Sudan Wednesday

Realistically guinea and Senegal should be through. if malawi win then keita could be back but its unlikely as 3rd placed teams continue to last 16.

It would take an odd set of results to see Egypt go out now. I think sudan wold need to win to overtake egypt and even then its unlikely.

Egypt should play the winner of group E who are currently ivory coast. Its be something of a shock if 1.5 man egypt could get a result of ivory coast given the amount fo top players for ivory coast but stranger things have happened. This would see salah back after palace game.

the final games in group B tonight will determine a lot. both will want to tope spot as its the easier route in last 16 but even at that the second place sport could play against one of 3 teams so could be quite favourable.

We should be thinking about mane getting to QF min here. so we shoudl be thinking end of month for one of those guys

Belgium are seemingly not in favour of the man who has nothing to go for the next 4.5 months spending them focused on everton.

I wouldnt want my national team manager getting used to losing either
