I think if Leeds win today and beat us we may already be that far away from 5th bottom that it’s a 4 horse race. A mini league between us Watford Burnley and Norwich. If we sign the right players being CM and CB I give us a 90% chance of surviving because I think we have the better players. See all I can be positive. I think I’ve just accepted it’s a league of 4 right now.
We need draws on Tuesday and Friday in the Watford games, but ultimately we need wins and wins have to come now. We're now relying on other results and wins, but it isn't over quite yet
It was that case before yesterday mate. I actually think Norwich are going to survive this season. At least they seem to actually be able to win games here and there. Draws do **** all in this situation.
I think a Burnley win on Tuesday followed by a draw on Friday will be best for us, purely because of Burnley's fixtures after the Watford game. I know it will put us bottom but at least the gap to 17th will only be 3 points.
4 points from the next 2 and we've possibly still got a fighting chance depending on other results this week
Can't see us beating anyone at the moment mate. Leeds is a nailed on defeat. Iv never been more sure of anything in my life. Everton will more than likely have a new manager boost now too.
Howe is one dimensional, his teams have always used physical tactics to attempt to bully opponents , worked in the championship , but it won’t cut it at premier league these days , the days of wimbledon have long gone .
Its defo a 4 team mini league for relegation. Its gonna be tight and squeaky bum all the way to the finish. The team who gets a run together will win the race. We need to put ourselves ahead of the others by buying the players to rise above them. Its gonna be tricky now of course as we aren't very attractive. To try and pin any of this on Howe is just silly. I think Howe has now been in the job about 70 days hasn't he? 2.5 months and 9 games is now peoples patience. We will never get anywhere unless we show a bit of patience. I didn't want Howe but he's done ok all things considered. There have been some promising signs, and also some worrying signs that he hasn't shown enough forthrightness to deal with long standing issues. The club now need to do their bit and get us the players we need to make those decisions easier.
I think Watford are better than the current bottom 3. They've got king Sarr Dennis and Pedro... They'll keep them up. I have a feeling Watford will beat Burnley and Norwich this week
