You know what, it's been more than 2 months since we last dialled in a performance like that so i'm not wanting to be too harsh on the players or McCann, think after how we've played they get a begrudging pass on today's shocker. Think it's harsh to go in on McCann for team selection, that was the same 11 who played so well against Everton from half time onwards, Hudds in particular most of us were purring over in that match so it wasn't a surprise to see him start today. I'm going to give Stoke a lot of credit, that starting 11 has more than a couple of prem standard players in and they've got a great blend of youth, pace, experience and strength and they pressed from the first minute to the last and broke at pace every time they got it, they fully deserved their 3 points today.

Trying to stay positive here but it’s hard after that debacle.

Getting turned over at this level happens to the best...it’s a very demanding league. It’s the way in which we lost today that worried me the most. We actually looked like a side who’d just been put together on Friday night after a weeks pre season training. Our defensive shape and attacking ploy was all over the f’kin place as players who’d had a good game against Everton suddenly found themselves unable to figure out each other’s roles as time and time again we looked vulnerable.

Cup-tie hangover somebody said.... F’kin hope so.

TTT our shape is like a dodecahedron and with as much cutting edge as a rolling pin..

Pissed off about today, I did say last week that it meant nothing the performance against Everton unless we carried it forward... Blackburn will smell blood...

It was really poor today. The 352 was ruthlessly exposed by their pressing and overloads on the wings, and we hardly laid a glove on Joe Allen all match. The fans were flat, the players were flat, it all reeked (as others have said) of bad news going around the dressing room.

Honeyman looks to be carrying a shoulder injury.
Received treatment on it v Everton and had problem with it today.
Can see him missing a few weeks!

First game I’ve been too needing to show a covid passport , that was a laugh , a small que started to develop and the steward just said if you haven’t got it handy just walk through , and the ones that were “checked” could have been a code from your Asda online shop , absolutely pointless <laugh>

Mixture of lack of games over Xmas , hype of takeover and Acuns appearance and decent effort against Everton all combined made us forget we are pretty **** at this league at the moment . Remembered today .

I am sure people were using the Tesco clubcard app today as it looks very similar to the NHS Covid app with the large QR code and blue colour.

The steward who was checking passes on the entrance from West Park near to the North Stand wasn't exactly being diligent in his duties today, a cursory glance at a 1 metre distance was his chosen method of checking covid passes.

Can't be a comfortable seat, they spent most of the match stood to the side of it, well done to them. :emoticon-0100-smile

No I forgot to look for it, but from that it looks like it was West Upper to the right of the tunnel (looking from East)
