Tick tock tick tock Dreyfus. If i was a Billionaire that had just bought a club or any other buisness I'd be desperate to make it my own and develop it. Where is his cash???

Too many blinkered people on here tbf. We constantly go after high profile loan signings of bargain freebies with a few 200k plus signings inbetween.
Does that sound like a Chairman that wants to take a club of our calibre back to the Premier league?? Theres something doesnt sit right with me at all, i think he's a fraud and the fact our pitch looks like my local teams Stockton town also raises a load of alarm bells!!!

    I disagree entirely Tees.

Thing is it doesn't matter what we say on here, or anywhere else tbh.

What will the least blinkered people do that's any different to anyone else.

In fact it could be said they're actually doing less because their support isn't as blindly wholehearted.

KLD will do exactly what he feels best, Johnson won't be sacked and players I don't like will be in the team ...

... but I'll cheer whatever they put in front of me because my only other choice is not cheering.

If that makes me blinkered then I've just clocked up fifty years of it tbh.

So whats he actually doing right mate? Im not slagging him off for doing anything particularly wrong, but what is he actually doing to show his intent and get us out of this league??

A club like ours should never be in this league one season, nevermind 3?
Where's his money? Surely investing into a project like us will pay dividends in the future once we are back on the map, gaining Sponsors, attracting players, keeping young talent and earning millions from Sky. Where is his plan and ambition?? The blokes supposed to be worth billions??

We're currently in a very good position and would be flying if we hadn't dropped 4 recent away points, not his fault imo.

We'll have to spend serious money rebuilding the squad, if we're promoted, so I'd expect the plan is to go up without spending money that may have to be written off.

We've all seen the likes of Derby ending up humiliated and in administration ...

... I really don't want us to risk being next.

Villa and West ham are the Premiership equivalent to us and investing to improve. Why is Dreyfus not doing that???

The plan? We dont have a plan mate, we're sat in mid January hoping Rotherham and Wigan feck up. Hows that a plan?? 2 or 3 million will get us out of this league, barely touch our owners bank account and get us within one league away from the Prem. No brainer to me that like and I'm totally shyte with money

Fair enough, I think we have but neither of us have enough actual information to be able to prove it.

The club brought in Huggins, Hoffman, Dajaku, Cirkin, Broadhead, etc, who have all been out for various reasons.

They were part of the plan in my opinion ...

... with them all available I think we'd be top, no question.

Good point mate, all key players and other than Huggins (who was out of contract at Leeds). The rest are borrowed from another club. All key players but not ours. Im sorry but that doesn't sit right with me.

If we knew we were skint id pat our chairman on the back and say well done in bringing players of that calibre into our club before returing back home again. Unfortunately our Chairman is worth a fair few quid so the way we have approached all of last summer and half of this window is worrying to me

Splashing the cash doesn’t guarantee success , the last transfer window was relatively successful and hopefully we can emulate that , at least we seem to be putting some thought in to strengthening the side . Hopefully the new management team team and the data driven system have been prepared for the window opening and we can look forward to some pleasant surprises on the recruitment front . The supporters in general have a good idea of where we need to strengthen so if the management team don’t we have major problems .

Yeah spending money totally ruined PSG, City and Chelski didnt it??
The sad thing is we dont even need to spend millions. 2 or 3m would give the squad and the fans a huge lift

Agree with this. injuries have cost is dear. I would add ONien and McGeady to that. To be in a good position after that lot is good work on behalf of squad and coaches.

For me though right now ball is in the court of recruitment team and KLD. The lads need help, and proper help. Players that can come into matchday squad amd make a difference. This next 2 weeks will tell us a lot about KLD in my opinion. We are close, how much is he prepared to push. Loads on here dig out Johnson, time to put the squeeze on KLD for me, 1 year in. Give us a striker, CM and CD that can play 1st team immediately and Johnson has no excuses. Anything less and the team above Johnson have to answer the questions. Wigan are out there doing it, time to outdo them. For what it is worth I think we will, but failure to do so will leave us behind other teams and with questions hanging over the hierarchy.

For every City there's an Everton.

I take your point but I'm more concerned with winning the Portsmouth game than wondering about things that may have no foundation.

That's my point mate, I believe KLD desperately wants promotion and a great future otherwise there's no point in him wasting his Tuesday evenings at Cheltenham or wherever.

People said no players would arrive in the summer but they did ...

... now they're saying no one will be signed again, I disagree.

Someone will be right and someone wrong but my support won't alter whatever happens.

This squad we have will not get us out of this league though mate, and come June we're back to square one with loan signings leaving to go back home.
Nows the time to just feck this league off and spend some cash. Wigan are embarrassing us on that front, like Peterborough done last year.
Its not rocket science and spending money brings rewards. If we dont and we dont go up then Karmas bit us on the arse AGAIN

    That's what I'm expecting.

According to some Ipswich we're embarrassing us on that front ..

... but we're doing better and took four points off them.

Ipswich have fecked up massively but fair play to them in showing ambition in the summer.
Explaining how spending money does not improve a club is abit off a pointless argument really. A club of our size in division 3 with our fanbase and Billionaire owners should absolutely tear this league apart.
Unfortunately for us we are aiming for freebies and loans and the odd signing here and there under 500k. Does that not make you wonder?
We're linked with a quality player in Patrick Roberts but yet again its a freebie???
