Which is why this league should be null and void IMO.

City are worthy winners no question but I don't think anybody would care if they were declared champions and the rest of it was voided. It's a completely invalid league campaign now.

They do a great deal of charitable work in finding steady employment for the visually impaired via the PGMOL.

    It's a crap rule + a crap implementation.

If you want to provide relief for teams badly hit by COVID, you should, you know, reserve it for teams badly hit by COVID.

If you want to decide case by case, you should decide NO when the team applying for relief has exactly one case of COVID.

The Nomad press are trying to make hay out of having a second positive case

A second positive case which was confirmed after they'd already demanded the match be postponed until the AFCoN outbreak has passed...

Apart from the disrespect to travelling fans, I was never that bothered by the postponement.

After last night's surrender to Liverpool by Arsenal and us having had the rest, enabling us to win in the 97th minute at Leicester, it's ****ing hilarious. <laugh>

Secretly I felt the same. Romero was back in training but not fit to start, likewise Reguilon I think and a number of players probably needed a rest after the Chelsea games. It’ll come back and hit us at some point but it probably done us a small favour in the short term, especially now in hindsight after Leicester, would we have had that same energy a few days after a NLD? Doubtful.
