On the point of the training centre. Could you please guarantee me that Lascelles and Shelvey never set foot in it please.
you need to apply to become a security man I'm sure your efforts to stop them would be very appreciated
That’s right, based on the person saying it having previously taken over a multi million pound business and having insider knowledge of what the New Crew are doing and not doing and when. I stand corrected.
I’m pleased we sorted that out. Now can we move on to world domination please. I have a tight schedule.
Regardless of relegation the future is bright. I think that's the only thing that matters really.. The new owners are saving the club.. It gets me irritated when I see them being criticised when they've not even had 1 year of the 5 to 10 year aim underway. If we go down great it's all part of the healing process.. If we stay up even better.
I think people need to calm down. They've had 100 days, Eddie has had 70 days. I know the modern way is to want everything now now now, but we knew the situ when they arrived. Some people have gone from "we are probably going down but I'm ok with it because over the long term the future is bright" to "Howe is a useless ****, get him out, the owners look a bit clueless" Life in the fast lane...
I think it's just everybody would like to avoid relegation so the timing has driven a lot of the urgency. Not helped, of course, by Howe failing to win all but one of the 'winnable' fixtures, which then impacts on the urgency too. Add into this how underwhelming an appointment Eddie was in the first place, and it just gets harder to argue the "give it time". The owners aren't helping themselves with the Hammond debacle, paying £25m for Chris Wood, etc. They're effectively been giving themselves less time with each passing bad decision. I know you loathe the idea of Rafa (with good reason, btw), but they will be thinking about it because it buys them time.
IF they do then they are massively misreading the room I feel. It will be all the confirmation the gutter press want to say they are a bunch of ****s and our fans deserve it etc, no doubt twisted into we hounded out Howe and Bruce in the same season.
It would smack of “we ain’t got a clue but the fans will like it” if they appoint Rafa. Man C made loads of bad decisions initially but they weren’t in a hell hole. So they got a pass on most. Like Mark Hughes remaining in post so long. I’m sure these guys will get it right and I’m happy to be patient. I accepted relegation at Xmas so I’m not too fussed. I’m hoping we can get out of course but I just think we were left with too much to do and it’s clear these players are neither good enough or believe in themselves. But then I’m 40 plus so didn’t grow up in the era of everything must happen yesterday.
