Problem with James up front isn't his workrate. It's the fact he doesn't hold the ball up and bring others in to play. Then we struggle to build attacks and get pinned in to our own half. We get sloppy because we try and play riskier passes in order to get out and ultimately give the ball away more often. Maybe I'm just a moron that doesn't know anything about football but I'd say James up front is a massive handicap.
Man City always have someone in the "false 9" acting as a fulcrum through which the ball can be passed to allowing others to move on to the next phase of attack. James or Harrison hasn't done that for us yet. Neither has Rodrigo to be fair.
Hopefully we get something here. More importantly no more injuries. We have some 6 pointers coming up.
well happy the way we are playing, my estimation of a win has grown immensely everyone giving 100% goallllllllllllllllllll
Just a quick 2p on Roofe - we got rid tactically, imo, as Roofe proved on many occasions that he couldn't play up top on his own & as we know, Bielsa likes 1 up top.
