Why? It’s totally irrelevant. It has nothing to do with this season. All teams have moved on and changed to varying degrees so it’s not an appropriate comparison. I can look at them but they mean nothing to this season.

Hang on you only judged full tenure the last season, but now you're looking at 10 games? Why was Bruce told he should be doing better with this squad.. He was chased out under that accusation. Why is Howe now being granted the excuse of needed more milions than the 37 he's already had? Bruce was denied credit even when winning.. It was well done, but but but. Howes doing crap no buts
This is why no one wanted the job. It was a poisoned chalice. The games he has lost were a given (even if there were some promising performances). I do think he needed at least one more win from the games. He should have had two really but was badly let down by the players. Norwich was about one man - Cieran Clark. The 3-3 against Brentford was Lascelles. Yesterday they bottled it, pure and simple. Shelvey gassed and killed us. In theory we should have 4-6 more points. If we did nobody would be asking any questions at all. So that is the learning he has to take from it for me. The players are not good enough. Don't try to protect them any longer, because these charlatans will not repay you. Rip out the rot. If he doesn't then his days are numbered because the business is brutal.
A. Howe has only been here 10 games. Plus I’m not judging him. You and GG are judging him on his 10 games so far. I’m saying you shouldn’t be. Seem to remember you saying something similar when defending your Old Man last season. B. I couldn’t care less about Bruce. He is history. He is gone. He is no longer our Manager. I’m not interested in him or what he did or didn’t do except in relation to this season and whenever we are talking about the worst managers in our history.
I’m not judging him yet. I have literally just said I’m hoping Howe can turn it around. But my assessment of things so far are that he is currently doing poor. When he gets his millions spent and some more players and if things have improved then I will be assessing him on his merits. Which would be different to Bruce’s.
But you judged Bruce after how many games this season. Just to be clear once again I have an entire thread where I made it plain that I credit when results are good and criticise when they're not.. No if and no buts. That wasn't the case with you and others. Now please answer my question Why wasn't Steve Bruce getting the excuses you're giving Howe regarding results this season? Steve Bruce had two and a bit seasons. He is responsible for us doing better than we expected under him in the first two seasons. He is equally responsible for how badly we have done this season as it is his team and he had all of the time to build and prepare the squad for this season. Eddie Howe has had neither after only 3 months and 10 games.
The fans said that this very side should be doing better under Steve Bruce and they're now saying Howe needs a completely new side to get better results, so they've actually admitted they were wrong. My entire argument was to credit bruce when we were doing well and criticise when the results are poor. I've got an entire thread, so I'm being fair to criticise Howe and if we get results I'll credit him... He isn't though?
Because Bruce had had either one full season and two transfer windows or two full seasons and four transfer windows in charge depending upon whether your question relates to this season or last. Howe has had 10 games and half a transfer window. Simples really. One had long enough in charge to be judged, the other hasn’t. Not that difficult to understand.

Only last season you among others refused to credit Bruce for the last 11 games or the best start in about 15 years. The point is I gave him credit then and criticised this season.. Why isn't that the right way for me to be? Im desperate to understand that
Also Bruce's win % of about 28 which was used as a weapon throughout. Well Howe's is under 10% at nufc.
