My biggest surprise with him coming from Utd was that he's not great on the ball. Him and Greaves need a spell out the side. I'd like to see Alfie and McLoughlin in a back 4. But we need full backs first
Well 'if' the new regime are there today, at least they'll see the immense challenge they've taken on. There you go Mr Illacali, this is your mission should you choose to accept it...
He’s just very inexperienced and lacks discipline. Constantly out of position. A club battling relegation doesn’t need a kid doing his work experience here when our defence is already young and inexperienced. We desperately needed someone like Davies or Jagielka alongside Greaves to help him develop. It’s just ****e business by the club. I really do worry if the takeover doesn’t happen until after the window closes.
Afraid McCann's naiveity with his team selections, his substitutions, his inability to motivate what he has just p1sses me off. That was bringing poor to a new level today, how much longer do we have to suffer this shyte. Sooner we have new owners, sooner we have a new manager, the sooner we can start looking up as opposed to fearing the fkn worst here, perform like that and we are down, simples !
Bit of credit for Stoke a fair mix of old well known performers, some kids, and some middling fillers. As league 1 champions that's obviously not good enough to be a mid table championship team.
Time and time again though. Remember when we had Bowen and Grosicki firing, and we where gunning for the play offs, De Wijs was playing well but injury prone, and we literally had no once else, if we’d have invested in a right back and a centre half we’d have run close to play offs. Instead we bought……. Ridgewell, absolutely horrendous and played a inexperienced McKenzie. We plummeted. To not have a experienced centre half in this league is criminal, it’s that simple!
Well that was back to where we were. Far too willing to pass backwards and sidewards (more backwards). Atrocious defensively and not enough going forward. Out thought? Or just not enough quality? Lack of confidence and belief in themselves and each other? Tough week ahead
Some have said we where a lot better inn the second half? That's not what I witnessed. We where totally off it today, Stoke gave us a lesson.
It's almost funny how we can play as well as we did against Everton and people get all gushing about it, despite the fact we were **** previously. You should try hard to consider the last ten games than the judge it on just the last game. This seems a common trait among football fans. Aaaaanywaay, UTT...
