I think when he sees Smith playing up front I can understand him getting hacked off, notwithstanding Smith’s goal against Everton. He still shouldn’t show it though. McCann should throw Fleming on the left, take Smith off, then rotate Longwood and KLP through right striker/right wb roles.

 

100%. I think he's best used off the bench late in games when everyone else is fatigued and he can help control the pace. Don't think he's worth a start anymore.

 

It's the effort levels for me. I get his limitations but he's barely even tried to stop players going past him. The lack of desire is the big issue
