Stoke are the better and have better players.
We desperately need investment in this club.

 

McCann is trying to press fair enough in their half. But he needs to tell the centre halves when to press. Literally all over the shop.

 

Yup. Everything just looks a little hectic. Our players look busy all the time but it’s a case of ‘working hard, not smart’.

We need someone like Huddlestone but a centre-half. That experience is invaluable.

KLP is wandering all over the pitch, but is leaving acres of space down our left side for them to exploit here, Thudd is just getting run past at every opportunity and it's effecting Honeymans game as a result, this isn't working at all could and should be 2 or 3 down already.

Eaves is doing alright imo. He’s up against three very good, experienced and organised centre-halves.

 

It’s not a bad performance but it’s not great either…it’s just lacking quality

 

I'd take Huddlestone off, he's not mobile enough.

 

But he's the only one creating anything out of midfield.

 

Wheres the player clap his hands and gee'ing everyone up.... no leader on the pitch when it gets like this....

I'd agree, but even if we bring on Smallwood we have the same issue, we need legs in there, they are more mobile and are just running past us

 

All credit to Stoke, they're twice the team Everton were and are first to everything. Big test for mccann here, not been outclassed like this for a few months. Few off the pace today, missing smallwood for me
