ASM is loved and hated in equal measures. He’s frustrating but you and pouch are right. He was signed to do what he did yesterday. And not just run around like Fraser. That’s the difference I guess. So I am one who takes it back with ASM. I’m just mentally asking him to do something his isn’t comfortable doing. First half yesterday it was like he wasn’t on the pitch.
The problem we then have is that we're already down to ten men. Maybe until we sign a better defence and midfield he should start on the bench
Couldn't give a **** what he likes. He has a choice. 1. He can be an impact sub or 2. Contribute more over the 90 minutes
No, not with this team, 1 league win from 20,went out of 2 cups to lower opposition AT HOME, not a chance.
I have a feeling transfers at the required level are out the window now, we needed to win at Watford to show we were moving in the right direction. Loans are a possibility but i doubt many players are going to look at this and fancy it for now.
We needed momentum from signings and winning against Cambridge and Watford to be able to see we are on the up now and I fear the opportunity has gone
Personally think Howe has also ****ed up by saying he doesn’t want release clauses in player agreements. Think that’s a really pathetic, 90s style approach. You should be using clauses as a means to get the best you can afford, and now we’re sat saying goodbye to the likes of Coutino thanks to this ****ing no mark manager. Genuinely they should sack Howe today, scrap his stupid ****ing idea, get Rafa in for 6 months and pray he keeps us up.
You don't honestly think Coutinho was an option? He's made it clear Gerrard was the reason and Villa was the only place he considered. **** Rafa man, he's gone and needs to stay that way.
Nah probably not, I just mean players like him - Dembele would come, but not without the release clause, you’d imagine. I just think Howe is a massive mistake. I’d rather they never picked him and went with Fabre, Jardim, Galtier, etc., but if they didn’t do that first time around what are thy going to do next? I think nothing will change until there’s a CEO (Kenyon), which will accelerate the necessary appointments at the top and also likely hasten Howes exit. Basically, a new CEO cannot come I quickly enough.
I agree about release clauses. For the simple reason beggars can't be choosers. With Howe, nobody really wanted him out the fanbase. Most accepted we were red hot favourites to go down regardless who came in. We've waited 9 games, with 5 of those games against teams we were never beating - Man C, Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Leicester. He hasn't lost any of the other games, for all results needed to be slightly better. We are jumping off the deep end and talking about a guy who is currently doing the worst job in the PL to replace him.
